The frigate Peder Skram is the third warship that bears its name from the old admiral, called "Denmark daredevil".

The History

The Frigate PEDER SKRAM is the third naval vessel carrying the name of the old admiral, called the Daredevil of Denmark". The frigate was a significant part of the Danish maritime defense during The Cold War from 1966 to 1988.

 

PEDER SKRAM was phased out in 1990 after having been transferred to material reserve for a couple of years together with her sister ship HERLUF TROLLE.
